Displaying Kids Artwork
Even though he only attends daycare part time, my eldest son brings home A LOT of artwork. It is so sweet to see his creations but they had started piling up and I didn't know what to do with them. I found this mobile on Amazon and thought it would be the perfect solution (although it is intended to display pictures). Instead of framing each craft and attaching them to the wall, the mobile only requires one hole be made in the ceiling for the screw hook (that I purchased separately for less than $2 CAD for a pack of six), and the clips would allow me to quickly and easily change out the artwork I wanted to display. There are ten clips in total, as you can see in the picture below. I love the copper metal and it has helped bring our yet to be decorated basement to life! It is listed on amazon.ca for $50 CAD and up, so I purchased it on amazon.com for $10 US + $6 for shipping and import fees. For your reference, the mobile measures 16 by 22 inches. I purchased the fan style but it is also available in two other styles with steel instead of copper. The mobile is already full so it's going to be tough to decide what stays and what goes when the next round of artwork comes home!
