Bow Ties from The Baby Niche
My eldest son was asked to be the ring bearer for his uncle's wedding that took place over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. He was very excited to do his "special job", and I wanted to make sure his outfit wouldn't distract him from doing so! To ensure that he looked like a handsome little man, and that his younger brother did too, I looked no further than The Baby Niche. The Baby Niche is a small shop run by Nysha Murray (with the help of her husband), in Strathmore, Alberta. They are most famous for their bows (which make boy moms like me consider having a girl), but they also make teethers, soother clips, and bow ties. Their bow ties are made out of real leather purchased from small shops in the United States and Canada. They come in black, caramel brown, forest green, and navy, which is the colour the boys wore to the wedding. If you're looking for a specific colour (to match a wedding party for example), Nysha is more than happy to accommodate custom orders. They come in two sizes, 18M-4YO and 4YO-8YO, and attach with a clip. Since the boys were 2 and 9 months at the time, Nysha attached them to a nylon band so the metal wouldn't cause any irritation. The bow ties looked beautiful in photos and not once did the boys try to take them off! I would 100% recommend them for any special occasion.
As a special holiday treat, Nysha is offering my readers/followers 15% off her ENTIRE website with the code "newwestmom15". The Christmas cutoff is Saturday, December 3, but the discount code is valid until December 31, 2016. Her items would make beautiful holiday gifts and the bow ties are certainly perfect for any little ring bearers in your lives! I would like to give a special thank you to Nicole Anne Photography for taking such beautiful pictures of the boys and our family that she has kindly let me include in this blog post!
