My Optometrist Calgary's Potter the Panda Tees for Calgary Reads
One of the perks of being a brand enthusiast for My Optometrist Calgary is getting a sneak peek at Dr. Danielle Gordon's latest project. Always one to give back to the community, Dr. Danielle has hand-drawn these Potter the Panda tees to raise awareness about children's vision issues and the relationship between vision and learning. She hopes that Potter will help children who have vision issues and need glasses or other visual aids feel more comfortable and confident reading and learning. The proceeds will go to Calgary Reads - a local organization committed to developing a generation of confident, joyful readers. They will be available in two styles - the grey onesie ($25) and black and white raglan ($30 for baby and kids, $35 for adults), and will range in sizes from 3-6 months to adult XL. The tees will be sold at Little Modern Market on November 26, 2016 at Rally Pointe and at the Azuridge Christmas Market on December 11, 2016 at the Azuridge Estate Hotel. For reference, my boys are ten months and two years and they are wearing the size 6-12 M onesie and the size 2 raglan. I love that Potter's belly matches up to my youngest son's belly. So cute! My boys were more than happy to model the tees because they love Potter (my youngest was a Panda for Halloween), and the proceeds are going to such a good cause. We may or may not have bribed my oldest with food to get more than one picture though! I would encourage everyone in Calgary to attend Little Modern Market and stop by the My Optometrist Calgary booth. The team is extremely friendly and they can help you schedule appointments for your family while you pick up one of these sweet tees! I hope to see you there!
